Hemmy Ltd was formed in 2012 to provide energy assessments for commercial buildings. We have built up an impressive portfolio of well-known clients and can provide an in-depth knowledge of how to achieve tangible improvements by changes in operation, controls and maintenance.
Air conditioning system inspections can only be completed by a qualified and accredited commercial energy assessor. There are two accreditation levels for inspectors, Level 3 and Level 4:
Level 3 inspections are for “simple systems”, which may comprise of split systems or VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems.
Level 4 inspections are for a ”complex system” and will be made up of an air handling unit (AHU), terminal units and usually a water chiller.
As many buildings can have a mixture of systems, all our inspectors are accredited to Level 4 and as such can carry out any inspection on any equipment on any building.
The aim of the inspection is to show how efficient your current system is and how it can be improved to reduce your costs and help the environment. Our Inspector will advise what simple measures you can take to see immediate improvements in cost-efficiency and the effectiveness of your systems and helping to reduce your carbon footprint.
Our inspectors will produce a written detailed report with advice on how to improve the efficiency of the system, the sizing of the system compared to actual requirements, and the possibilities for improvement or replacement of the system or possible alternative solutions. This report will be given to the person who has operational control of the air-conditioning system who must keep it and pass it on to new occupiers.
We are here to help you meet your legal obligations quickly and efficiently.
